Dessert #21

My Grandma made cookies like these. Called thumbprint cookies around here, she refered to them as"Bird Nests." Rolled in crushed walnuts and filled with a teaspoon of jelly, they were a staple of Christmas. Surrounded by a festive green, may they bring back a happy memory or two. 4" x 6" on a deep canvas. $95. Or $105 if you don't dare guess the painter.

This little line-up of store bought cookies is a beauty! Strawberry filling on the left, and raspberry on the right. This piece is 4" tall, by 12" wide, and painted on a standard depth canvas. The off white background gives the delicate colors a chance to shine. Perfect for the cookie monster on your Christmas list! $175, or $165 if you can guess the artist.

Dessert #3 **sold** (by Kathrine!)

Who can resist a chocolate chip cookie? This is a small piece, just 4" square. It is painted on a traditional depth canvas, about 3/4" thick. The edges are painted black, and it can be hung as is, propped up on a tiny easel, or framed however you'd like. The background is a warm green, a perfect addition to a traditional color scheme. This piece is $75, or $65 if you can correctly guess who painted it!
