Dessert #28

Do you know how it is when you repeat a word over and over again and it stops making sense? It just fragments into a sound you don't recognize? Paintings do that too, especially ones like this where the composition is a little abstract, and the subject a little vague. I was working on this (ok, no guessing today) and it just looked like a jumbled up mess. Scott walks by and says "Hey, that looks great." I couldn't see it, it had broken down into little blobs in my head. But when I catch it out of the corner of my eye it instantly reads "Buttertarts!"

So here you go, buttertarts on a deep blue green plate. A tiny piece, just 4" square on a standard depth canvas. Hang it as is, or tart it up in a hoop-di-la gold frame. $65
