Dessert #14

This is what we call a little "loosey-goosey." The model came directly from our Thanksgiving dinner last night. Pumpkin cheesecake with caramel topping edged with crunchy pecans. And if you want a challenge, try painting a glob of whipped cream on a white china plate. It makes me want to try it again and again, and see if I can get it right!

No secrets here, Kathrine painted this one, on an empty stomach, the temptation was intense.

(Thanks, Gay Grant!)

Dessert #13 **sold**

Triple Chocolate something or other! We purchased this yummy at a favorite restaurant in Atlanta, and brought it home wrapped like precious cargo so it could be painted. Although I can't remember it's name, I can remember that it was really tasty. This little original painting is 5"x7" and painted on a standard depth frame. $145, or $135 if you can tell who painted it, and I think you can!

Dessert #5 **sold** (by Scott)

Hey, how's this for a healthy dessert option? The perfect piece for those who can't bear the thought of having a slice of hot fudge cheesecake grinning at you from your kitchen wall! Two perfectly plump strawberries on a buttery yellow background to brighten up your day. This little painting is 5" square on a deep canvas, just like the original cupcake series. They can either hang on the wall unframed, or sit nicely on a shelf, mantle, or wherever!

This piece is a bargain at $95, or $85 if you correctly guess whether Scott or Kathrine painted it!

Dessert #4 **sold**

You just can't go wrong with a little coconut, custard and cream! The glass pedestal is sparkling and reflecting light, and the diamond pattern in the background makes the eye dance around the page. This piece is 5" x 6" on a narrow canvas which can be framed, or hung as is. I think it's pretty easy to guess who painted this one, but I've been around the block a few times. If you would like to add this to your collection it is $120, or $110 if you can guess the painter!
