Dessert #34

This little bit of chocolate bliss is a new twist on the smore. A chocolatey graham cracker base topped with more chocolate and marshmallow. Surrounded by a buttery yellow, this piece is painted on a 4" square standard depth canvas. At $95 if you don't care to guess the painter, or $85 if you think you can figure it out.

This is also the last piece in this series, we'll keep them up here on the blog for a while until we transfer everything over to our web site. Enjoy your holiday, and we wish you a great New Year!

Dessert #20

I know you can tell who painted this one, but we'll play along anyway. A Christmas tradition, (where I come from) the mince, or mincemeat tart. Sitting on a snowy blue background, it has the prettiest top I have ever seen. It makes me want to go into the kitchen to see how they did that! This little piece is 4" square on a standard depth canvas. Can you see a little collection of these on easels along a mantle? I can! $85, or $75 if you guess who the artist is.

Dessert #5 **sold** (by Scott)

Hey, how's this for a healthy dessert option? The perfect piece for those who can't bear the thought of having a slice of hot fudge cheesecake grinning at you from your kitchen wall! Two perfectly plump strawberries on a buttery yellow background to brighten up your day. This little painting is 5" square on a deep canvas, just like the original cupcake series. They can either hang on the wall unframed, or sit nicely on a shelf, mantle, or wherever!

This piece is a bargain at $95, or $85 if you correctly guess whether Scott or Kathrine painted it!

Dessert #1

The first post! This is always makes me a little nervous, I'm sure I'll come back in a few minutes and find spelling mistakes galore! First things first, make sure you read all the blahblah on the right side of the page. That's where you'll be able to sign up to get an email when a new piece is posted, and get all the information you need to purchase.

When I was wondering which piece to begin with the answer I was given was to always begin with chocolate, so here we go...

Dessert #1 is a decadent piece of birthday cake, with thick dark chocolate icing. The pale yellow background brings a touch of sunshine into any room. This piece is 5" square and on a deeper 1 3/8" canvas, just like the cupcake series. And yes you can easily mix and match these with the cupcakes, and possibly even find a new cupcake or two to add. You never know!

Remember, we don't give away who painted it until purchased, just for fun! See you back here tomorrow.

Speaking of being nervous, I just realized I didn't post the price! The first piece in the series is $120, or $110 if you correctly guess which of us painted it.
